Emilio Cofrancesco from Cerreto Sannita was born in 1860. He arrived at the Barge Office on October 3, 1900 aboard the Tartar Prince from Naples. His destination was a cousin by the name of Di Meola in New York.

Emilio eventually moved to 19 Portland Avenue in Middletown, Connecticut where his wife Maria Antonia Iuliano, born in 1867, and their 4 children, Achille (Charles) (1896), Attillo (Arthur Cofrank) (1894), Maria Grazia (1892), and Maria Teresa (1890) joined him. They arrived at Ellis Island on July 8, 1909 aboard the Roma from Naples.
1911
On May 29, 1911 another son, Giuseppe (Joseph Cofrances) (1899) arrived at Ellis Island on the Moltke, which sailed from Naples. Giuseppe may have returned to Italy on July 7, 1936.
