Ferdinando, his wife, and all of their children immigrated to the
United States between 1889 and 1900. Ferdinando was the oldest
Cofrancesco to enter the USA, when he returned from a visit to Italy in
1909, after the death of his wife.

1889
Simone Cofrancesco, the eldest child of Ferdinando
and Maria was born in Massa di Faicchio in1867. He arrived at Castle Garden
in 1889 according to the 1910 US Census and went to New Haven, Connecticut.
1890
He was followed by brothers Nicola (1869) and
Pietro (1874). Pietro arrived at Castle Garden in 1890 and Nicola
arrived at the Barge office on May 13, 1890 aboard the Letimbro from Naples.
They both went to New Haven.
1891
Their sister Anna (1865) was the next to arrive
at the Barge Office on December 30, 1891 aboard the Alesia from Naples.
She was accompanied by her son, Marco Sarro (1891) (her husband
was Michele Sarro).
1899
Brother Antonio (1876) followed, arriving at
the Barge Office on June 26, 1899 aboard the Sempione from Naples. His
destination was the home of his brother Nicola in New Haven.
1899
Next came Ferdinando (1839) with
his wife Maria (1840) and daughter Maria Giuseppa (1888).
They arrived at the Barge Office on October 6, 1899 aboard the Patria
from Naples. Their destination was the home of son Pietro in New Haven.
1900
Brother Angelo Michele (1872) arrived at the
Barge Office on February 28, 1900 aboard the Rotterdam from Boulognes/Mer.
His destination was given as his father Ferdinando in New Haven.
1900
The youngest brother Liberato (1882) arrived
at the Barge Office on May 22, 1900 aboard the Amsterdam from Rotterdam.
His destination was also given as his father Ferdinando.
1901
Next to arrive was Maddalena Lavorgna
(1873), the wife of Angelo Michele and their two sons, Ernesto
(1889) and Giovanni (1900). They arrived at Ellis Island on June
8, 1901 aboard the Manilla from Naples.
1905
The records show that Antonio returned to Italy
and re-entered the US at Ellis Island on March 27, 1905 aboard the Patria
from Naples.
1909
Ferdinando also made a return to Italy following
the death of his wife, and re-entered the US at Ellis Island on November
30, 1909 aboard the Regina d'Italia from Naples. His destination was given
as "his six sons, 137 Canal St. New Haven".
